Michael Andree Purugganan

MICHAEL ANDREE is thrilled to be part of LALÒ’s first performance, and has always been a proponent of the performing arts and sciences. In his collegiate years, he sang with the De La Salle University Chorale. He moved to Boston, Massachusetts in the early 2000s to begin his career in healthcare as a laboratorian.

Outside of the lab, Michael can be seen performing with various Boston-based groups as well as Philippine organizations. He sang with groups like Boston Gay Men’s Chorus, Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum, Coro Allegro, Boston Cecilia, and the Jameson Singers. He cantors regularly at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. He appeared in community theaters for musicals like Pirates of Penzance, A Little Night Music, King and I, Oklahoma, and Rent. He also performed with the Dance Philippines Performing Arts Co, and supported Iskwelahang Pilipino and the Filipino Apostolate of Boston.

Michael is a proud dog dad and plant dad. In his free time, he enjoys going on food adventures and spending time with loved ones.
