LORNA DE LEOZ (she/her), alto, is excited to join LALÒ as an inaugural member! Lorna currently performs with The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay and serves as cantor and choir member at St. Stephen Catholic Church. She toured with the Ateneo Chamber Singers and the Ateneo de Manila College Glee Club while pursuing her B.S. in Chemistry/Computer Engineering and M.S. in Chemistry in Ateneo de Manila University. Lorna performed as Namongan, Lam-Ang’s mother, in the world premiere of Lam-Ang (Tanghalang Ateneo) and as part of the ensemble in Brigadoon (Davis Musical Theatre Company). She served as cantor and choir member in her home churches in Manila, California, Maryland, and Florida. Lorna earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of California Davis. A scientist working in the lab most of her life, she transitioned to technical sales and marketing roles and is now the Global Food Market Director at Agilent Technologies. When not singing or talking about chemistry, she enjoys biking, reading, and traveling. Lorna would like to thank her family and friends for the unwavering love and the wonderful gift of music!
