John Cas
John Cas is a seasoned professional with 18 years of experience in communication, marketing, events management, and consumer activation. He holds a degree in Development Studies from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. Throughout his career, John has worked with global brands such as Kimberly Clark, Chevron, Nestlé, and McDonald’s. He is also the co-founder of several successful agencies, including Reinventing Experiences and Dreams Advertising, Dasein Manila, Seven Genies Corp., and Sparks Comm Manila.
As a counter-tenor, John has sung with renowned Philippine choirs, including the Ateneo College Glee Club (2002-2012), Ateneo Chamber Singers, Aleron (2012-2014), and Los Cantantes de Manila. His performances have taken him across the world, competing and touring in the US, Europe, and Asia. Among his most notable achievements are winning top prizes in international competitions in Arezzo (Italy), Miltenberg (Germany), Cork (Ireland), Marktoberdorf (Germany), and participating in the 2012 European Grand Prix for Choral Singing in Maribor (Slovenia).
Currently, John serves as president of Los Cantantes de Manila, where he co-leads the preparations for the choir’s upcoming participation in the 2025 European Grand Prix for Choral Singing in Tolosa, Spain.
In addition to his musical career, John plays a key role in organizing international choir competitions as part of INTERKULTUR’s international organizing committee, contributing to major events such as the World Choir Games in Latvia, Russia, South Africa, and New Zealand.
As Consultant for Brand and Strategy and Executive Director of Philippine Operations at LALÒ, John is excited to be part of the ensemble and to sing with its growing community of singers from the US, Europe, and the Philippines. For him, LALÒ represents the perfect blend of his passions for choral music and brand building.
