Fausto Daos
Fausto Daos has been captivated by music since his childhood in Zambales, Philippines, starting with a percussion folk ensemble in elementary school. He continued his pursuit of music with years of playing violin and orchestral percussion once in the United States. On a whim, he decided to audition for choir and an a capella group during his freshman year at Carleton College in Minnesota. This set off a journey that has taken him to different parts of the world, singing in conventions, festivals and competitions including ACDA, World Choir Games, Hand in Hand - Asian LGBT Choral Festival, GALA Choruses and Eistedfodd in Llangollen, Wales, UK. Professional choir opportunities has enabled Fausto to sing as an alto or tenor. He is grateful to explore his vocal range even further as he debuts as a bass in LALÒ! He lives and works in his adopted hometown of San Francisco. Plants, learning new recipes and to bake bread, classical concerts and hiking are just a few of the pleasures that can distract Fausto from making music.
