Bianca Lopez

BIANCA LOPEZ is a product of the Philippine High School for The Arts, majoring in vocal performance. She received her Diploma in Creative and Musical Performing Arts from the University of the Philippines College of Music.

She sang with the Philippine Madrigal Singers (Madz) for 9 years, and was part of the batch that won the European Grand Prix in Arrezzo, Italy in 2007 (making the Madz the first choir in the world to win the award twice) and when the choir was designated as UNESCO Artist for Peace in Paris, France in 2009.

After her stint with the Madz, she has done numerous operas in the Cultural Center of the Philippines and in Manhattan, New York. One of them was Noli Me Tangere The Opera (2017 and 2018) where she played Maria Clara for three seasons. Other theater and opera credits include "Paz" in Spoliarium the Opera by Ryan Cayabyab (Tribeca Performing Arts Center, Manhattan New York 2015), "Jenny" in Company by Stephen Sondheim Maybank Performing Arts Center, BGC 2019) "Countess Almaviva" in Le Nozze Di Figaro (Ang Kasal ni Figaro, CCP out-of-the-box production,Manila 2023)

She is currently singing with the Nightingales, a classical-pop crossover duo who have done concerts in Europe, the US, Ethiopia, Taiwan, the Carnegie Hall in New York, San Francisco, Mexico and all over the Philippines. They have been working closely with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the Department of Foreign Affairs to bring our music and culture to diplomatic receptions all over the world including China, Argentina, Mexico, Jakarta, and all over Europe. 

In 2020, she established the Studio B Vocal Coaching Online to share her knowledge and help aspiring singers all around the world to find their voices.
