Anna Mallari-Romea

Anna’s career began in the University of the Philippines, where she majored in music and sang in the Maria Clara female ensemble of the Philippine Madrigal Singers. After college, she worked at Unilab where she spent time as the liturgical music director.

She eventually married and moved to the US where she spent her time raising her three wonderful kids. On the side she took on a variety of roles: she was a member of the Rosary Cathedral Choir in Ohio, sang with the Toledo Symphony Chorale, was a church choir member in Oklahoma, and became a church music director and high school vocal coach in Sacramento.

Currently, she is based in Brentwood, where she directs St. Michael’s Filipino Choir and sings at the Immaculate Heart of Mary and various other Bay Area parishes.

She also loves cooking, playing the piano, singing, composing, and painting. She is so happy to be joining LALÒ!
